I've been working on a comic for a long time now and i thought what the hell i'll post some suff. the comic is an X-men spin off, but only cause it deals with mutants. the story follows two groups of young mutants who are just trying to survive. Some living on the streets, so being outed and others just trying to deal. It has the same themes as your classic X-comic but with out the money, the uniforms or the moral compass. the working title is "Mutant Trial". tell me what you think about Tempest here or any of the otheres i post up.

Powers: Megan is a powerful mutant with the ability to manifest meteorological events in and around a small area. The type of event or system she can create is limited to high winds ranging from 10 to 200 miles per hours, heavy to moderate rain fall and bursts of lightening. At optimal conditions and maximum power, Megan can affect an area about 50 meters in circumference for 30 minutes before rendered unconscious. Megan does control the ability of flight, and can travel as fast as the winds she creates, but the faster she moves the quicker she depletes her powers. At maximum speed she can only maintain flight for 90 minutes before having to land or slow down significantly.

History: At the age of 14 Megan discovered her powers in a manner no young girl should ever have to endure. After leaving a high school party, Megan was attack by some drunken class mates. After forcing her into a dark allay, the young boys beat and raped her, Megan fought them tooth and nail but she was overpowered, until her mutant powers surfaced as she created a raging vortex of wind and rain, throwing her assailants from her then striking them down with massive bolts of lightening. Megan is still scared from this experience, having little to no trust in the opposite sex.
